Marianivka (village)

Marianivka is a village in the Kiev Oblast of central Ukraine. Marianivka is known for being the birthplace of Ivan Kozlovsky. It has a music school built by him in 1970. Village Mar'yanivka was founded in the 12th century. The first inhabitants settled on the flow of the river Ros’ - Rotok. Previously, Ros’ was Rotok tributary run through the modern village Marianivka. From year to year Rotok became shallow and turned into a swamp.

Vepryk

Vepryk is a village in Ukraine, in the Fastiv Raion of the Kiev Oblast. The village has a population of 1,053. It is famous for being the place where Ukrainian composer Kyrylo Stetsenko died. His house is a currently a museum, and there is monument on his grave.
