Marianivka (village)
Marianivka is a village in the Kiev Oblast of central Ukraine. Marianivka is known for being the birthplace of Ivan Kozlovsky. It has a music school built by him in 1970. Village Mar'yanivka was founded in the 12th century. The first inhabitants settled on the flow of the river Ros’ - Rotok. Previously, Ros’ was Rotok tributary run through the modern village Marianivka. From year to year Rotok became shallow and turned into a swamp.

It is a medium-sized fighter base with numerous revetments. Units stationed at Vasylkiv include the 146th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment (146 Gv IAP) flying 41 MiG-25PD (Foxbat) aircraft. The regiment arrived at the base in 1950.
