Zarubyntsi

Zarubyntsi is a small village in Ukraine, situated 6–7 km from Zbarazh in the Ternopil Oblast. Population 653, cens 2001. It is the constituent village of the Greek Catholic parish of Zarubińce, in the deanery of Zbarazh and it belongs to the Roman Catholic parish of Opryłowce.

Dobrovody

Dobrovody is a village located within the Uman Raion (district) of the Cherkasy Oblast (province), Ukraine. Dobrovody is a 4th millennium BC site of the Cucuteni-Trypillian culture, with up to 10,000 citizens, and was one of the largest cities in the world in its day. The total area is about 2.5 km. Using aerial photography, a fortified city with blocks and streets can be seen.

Zbarazh Castle

Zbarazh Castle was a fortified defense stronghold. It dominates the crests of the Zamkova Hills of Ternopil Oblast in Western Ukraine next to the city's central plaza that was not in so distant past surrounded by marshland. The castle existence has been credited to last members of Zbaraski family undertaking of Krzysztof Zbaraski and Jerzy Zbaraski.

Zbarazh

Zbarazh is a city in the Ternopil Oblast of western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Zbarazh Raion, and is located in the historic region of Galicia. The current estimated population is around 13,000.

Ternopil Pond

Ternopil Pond is a reservoir in Ternopil, Ukraine. It was created in 1548 by Jan Amor Tarnowski as one link in a chain of fortifications encircling his residence, the Tarnopol Castle. In the 16th century the pond stretched for 7 kilometres up to the high dam carrying the Lwów Highway. The pond, formerly renowned for its fisheries, had silted up by the mid-20th century and was further damaged during the Second World War.
