Winksley is a small village and civil parish in the district of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It is situated west of Ripon, and is on the River Laver, which flows into the River Skell (a tributary of the River Ure) just outside Ripon. Galphay is a village in North Yorkshire, England. It is situated in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It was created in the late 1930s by a County Review Order, by a merger of the Ripon Rural District and the Pateley Bridge Rural District.
