Dewisland

The Hundred of Dewisland (often written "Dewsland") was a hundred in the north west of Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was formed by the Act of Union of 1536 and was essentially identical to the pre-Norman cantref of Pebidiog: one of the seven cantrefs of Dyfed. Named after Dewi Sant, the Welsh name for Saint David, Dewisland is in north-western Pembrokeshire, including the city of St David's and the peninsula on which it stands.

Abermawr

Abermawr is a stretch of coastline and is regarded as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Abermawr is a mostly shingle beach with marsh and woodland behind it. It is popular with many walkers who are walking along the coast past Porthgain, Abereiddi and Abercastle. The large pebble bank of the bay was created by a storm on the 25th of October 1859. The currents at Abermawr can be hazardous but the headlands are low so are less gusty.

Tregwynt Hoard

The Tregwynt Hoard was a mid 17th century hoard of coins found near Fishguard in Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1996. The hoard is now in the British Museum in London. The treasure consisted of 33 gold coins, 467 silver coins and a gold ring. This was the first English Civil War hoard found in Pembrokeshire.
