Sorghumville, Texas
Sorghumville was a rural community in Houston County, Texas. It was on FM 230 and founded around 1900. In the 1930s Sorghumville consisted of a church and a number of houses. Children attended school in nearby Prairie Point (but later Consolidated with Lovelady). After World War II, many people moved away, and by the 1990s Sorghumville became dispersed.

A school was established before 1897, when it had an enrollment of 57. In the 1930s Prairie Point had a church, school, and a number of houses. After World War II, the School consolidated with Lovelady. There are no recent population estimates.
