Currently, the venue is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of the local Bulgarian A PFG football club, PFC Kaliakra Kavarna. The stadium has an overall capacity of 5,000 spectators and was built in 1967. The stadium is situated in the Kaliakra Sport Complex, which was constructed along with the renovation of the stadium in 2008.
