The Tähtiniemi Bridge (Finnish: Tähtiniemen silta, literally "Star cape bridge") is a cable-stayed harpform bridge in Heinola, Finland. It is 924 metres long and the second longest bridge of Finland. It carries the Finnish national road 4 across the Lake Ruotsalainen. The bridge was opened in November 1993.

Päijänne Tavastia Aviation Museum

Päijänne Tavastia Aviation Museum is an aviation museum in Asikkala, near Lahti, Finland. It opened in its current form on 19 May 2006. The museum was known for a long time as Vesivehmaan varastohalli (the Vesivehmaa storage hall). The museum displays mainly aircraft of the Finnish Air Force. In 1948, the Finnish Air Force began separating and storing some of the aircraft that had been taken out of service.

Lahti University of Applied Sciences

Lahti University of Applied Sciences (LUAS) is a multidisciplinary institution of higher professional education, formerly known as Lahti Polytechnic in Lahti, Finland. LUAS is located in Southern Finland, 100 km from the capital of Helsinki.
