Dragsfjärd is a former municipality of Finland. On January 1, 2009, it was consolidated with Kimito and Västanfjärd to form the new municipality of Kimitoön. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Finland Proper region. The municipality had a population of 3,378 (2004-12-31) and covered an area of 274.95 km² of which 8.17 km² is water. The population density was 12.66 inhabitants per km².

Västanfjärd

Västanfjärd is a former municipality of Finland. On January 1, 2009, it was consolidated with Dragsfjärd and Kimito to form the new municipality of Kimitoön. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Finland Proper region. The municipality had a population of 812 (2004-12-31) and covered an area of 96.62 km² (excluding sea) of which 0.69 km² is inland water. The population density was 8.46 inhabitants per km².

Högsåra

Högsåra (Finnish Haukisaari and Haukkasaari) is a village in the municipality of Dragsfjärd in the archipelago of Hiittinen, Finland. The village was known as a station of pilots before. The village has a population of about 50. Högsåra has three wind power producers. They were opened on 15 June 2008. Nicholas II, Grand Duke of Finland, spent his summers in Högsåra with his family.

Kasnäs

Kasnäs is a village in the municipality of Kimitoön, Finland. It belongs to the archipelago of Hitis. Blåmusslan, one of the two information centers of the Archipelago National Park is situated here. The ferries to the archipelago of Hitis, including Vänö and Tunnhamn, leave from here. Kimitoön (island)

Kimitoön is the largest coastal island of Finland with the area of 524 square kilometres . It is situated in the Finland Proper region in Western Finland province. The island has a population of 7,500 divided between the two municipalities: Kimitoön and Salo of which Salo is mostly located on the mainland. The island is bilingual, the majority speaks Swedish.
