Piikkiö

Piikkiö, is a former municipality of Finland. Piikkiö was consolidated with Kaarina on January 1, 2009. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Finland Proper region. The municipality had a population of 6,836 (2004-12-31) and covered an area of 90.35 km² (excluding sea) of which 0.07 km² is inland water. The population density was 75.72 inhabitants per km². The municipality was almost unilingually Finnish.

Littoinen

Littoinen is a village in south-western Finland, centred around Lake Littoinen. The village is shared between the town of Kaarina and the municipality of Lieto, and it borders the regional centre of Turku. It started growing after the founding of a broadcloth factory by Lake Littoinen in 1739, and the railway connection built in 1899 increased its growth.

Vaala is a district in the Itäharju-Varissuo ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the east of the city centre, and consists mainly of a strip of low-density residential area between the more densely built suburbs of Varissuo and Lauste. The current population of Vaala is 972, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 0.62%. 30.35% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 4.22% are over 65.

Huhkola is a district in the Itäharju-Varissuo ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the east of the city, and is mainly a low-density residential suburb. The current population of Huhkola is 986, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 3.75%. 20.79% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 4.77% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 91.68% Finnish, 6.09% Swedish, and 2.23% other.

Turun normaalikoulu

Turun normaalikoulu (or Norssi for short) is a school in Varissuo, an eastern suburb of Turku, Finland. It provides education from primary school (age 7) to upper secondary school (age 19). The school is authorized by the International Baccalaureate to teach in both the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. Founded in 1892, the school is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Turku.
