Viiala is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Pirkanmaa region. The municipality had a population of 5,329 (2003) and covered an area of 56.78 km of which 5.88 km² is water. The population density was 104.7 inhabitants per km². The municipality was unilingually Finnish.

Toijala railway station is located in the Toijala district of the town of Akaa, Finland. Tehtaan kenttä is a football (soccer) stadium in Valkeakoski, Finland. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Haka. The stadium holds 3,516 and was built in 1935. The attendance record is 6,401 and was set in a game against big rivals HJK Helsinki in 1999. The stadium is noted for its surroundings, being located in a big park and having the nearby UPM-Kymmene paper mill at one end of the pitch (as shown in the picture).
