Paarlahti

Paarlahti is Finland's only fjord, and it is situated in Teisko, in Kämmenniemi in the lake of Näsijärvi. Paarlahti is about 10 km long and has a maximum depth of about 60 m. Paarlahti has been called the longest inland fjord of Scandinavia, although it does not really resemble the large fjords of Norway. However, its long and narrow shape, its depth and steep shores qualify it as a fjord. Usually there are no islands in a fjord, but Paarlahti has a few.

Vesijärvi (Kangasala)

Vesijärvi is a lake in Finland. It is located in the Pirkanmaa region and there mostly in the municipality of Kangasala and for a lesser part in the municipality of Orivesi. The lake is part of Kokemäenjoki basin and a chain of lakes that consists of Längelmävesi, Vesijärvi, Roine, Pälkänevesi and Mallasvesi.

Tampereen jäähalli

Tampereen jäähalli (Tampere ice hall, often called "Hakametsä") is a sports arena in Tampere, Finland. It is primarily used for ice hockey, and is the home arena of Ilves and Tappara of the SM-liiga. It was built in 1965, and currently the capacity for hockey games is 7800 spectators (6600 seats, 1200 standing).

Messukylä

Messukylä is a former municipality of Finland which was annexed by the city of Tampere in 1947. The medieval stone church (built circa 1540) in Messukylä is the oldest building in Tampere. During the Civil War (1918), Messukylä was the scene of heavy battles around both the medieval and new churches.
