Idlib

Idlib is a city in northwestern Syria, capital of the Idlib Governorate, and 59 kilometers west of Aleppo. It has an elevation of nearly 500 meters above sea level. Iblin, Syria

Iblin, also spelled Ibleen, is a village in the Arihah District in the Idlib Governorate in Syria. It is located in the Zawiya Mountain. On September 8, 2011, murders were reported from Iblin by the Syrian army. The target of the raid were a group of at least eleven soldiers who had taken shelter in Ibleen after defecting from the Syrian army. Footage from the murders were later revealed to be taken from a Rambo DVD.
