It is on a tributary of Sakarya River and Turkish state highway D.140 from west to Mudurnu. The distance to Mudurnu is 35 kilometres and to Bolu is 85 kilometres . The population of Taşkesti is 1,456 as of 2011. as of 2011. The area around Taşkesti was populated during Phrygian Kingdom of the antiquity.

Beyköy, Düzce

Beyköy is a town the central district of Düzce Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|46|N|31|10|E||| | |name= }} it is 7 kilometres South of Düzce. As of 2011 the population of the town was 4510 as of 2011. According to mayor’s page the population of the town is mostly composed of refuges from Balkan countries and Caucasus as well as people from East Black Sea provinces of Turkey. In 1991 The settlement was declared a seat of township.
