Lake Sapanca is a fresh water lake in Turkey, between the Gulf of İzmit and the Adapazarı Meadow. The lake has a catchment area of 251 km², surface area is 45 km², a length 16 km east-west / 5 km north-south, and a maximum depth of 52 m. Lake Sapanca, Turkey Sapanca Lake is located on a tectonic hole, which is situated between Izmit Bay and Adapazari Meadow and runs parallel to Iznik Lake.

Sakarya University

Sakarya University is located in Sakarya, Turkey. It was founded as Sakarya Engineering and Architecture in 1970. It renamed as Sakarya State Engineering and Architecture Academy in 1971. It opened Master of Science and Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programs in 1980. The programs were executed by İTÜ Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences. It was bounded to İstanbul Technical University in 1982 as Sakarya Engineering Faculty in 1982.

Sakarya Atatürk Stadium

Sakarya Atatürk Stadium (Turkish: Sakarya Atatürk Stadı) is a multi-purpose stadium in Adapazarı, Turkey. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Sakaryaspor. The stadium holds 13,216 spectators. It was named after the Turkish statesman Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Sangarius Bridge

The Sangarius Bridge or Bridge of Justinian is a late Roman bridge over the river Sakarya in Anatolia, in modern-day Turkey. It was built by the East Roman Emperor Justinian I (527-565 AD) to improve communications between the capital Constantinople and the eastern provinces of his empire.
