Whitewater (formerly, White Water) is a census-designated place in Riverside County, California. It is directly off Interstate 10 halfway between North Palm Springs and Cabazon on the way from Palm Springs to Los Angeles. It is known as the site of the San Gorgonio Pass Wind Farm. The ZIP Code is 92282, and the community is inside area code 760. The population was 859 at the 2010 census. The elevation is 1,575 feet . Whitewater is famous for its recently renovated trout farm.

Palm Springs (Amtrak station)

The Palm Springs Amtrak station is a train station in Palm Springs, California, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It is served in each direction by thrice-weekly service provided by the Sunset Limited, combined with the Texas Eagle over this portion of its route. This is not a full-service station. It is only a platform and open-air shelter with a roof built in 1999. There are no services offered.

Nude Bowl

The Nude Bowl was a popular skateboarding locale from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. The name comes from the fact that the site was once a nudist resort named "Desert Gardens Ranch. " It was outside Desert Hot Springs, California and consisted of an abandoned kidney bean shaped swimming pool and a few foundations of buildings that used to surround the area. There was no paved road to the Nude Bowl, so visitors had to travel through the desert.

Chino Canyon (California)

Chino Canyon is a 5.5-mile long desert canyon, and its associated stream is a tributary of the Whitewater River in Riverside County, California, United States. The canyon is located in the northern part of the San Jacinto Mountains and is part of the Coachella Valley. It is one of the steepest canyons in North America, dropping from over 8,500 feet at the south rim to less than 2,700 feet on the valley floor in less than a mile.

Tramway Gas Station

The Tramway Gas Station is a landmark former Enco service station in Palm Springs, California, USA, so named because of its location at the foot of Tramway Road, the lone road leading to the base of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. It was intended to be the first Palm Springs building visitors saw when approaching the city from the north via California State Route 111.
