Highland Township, Oakland County, Michigan
Highland Charter Township is a charter township of north Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 19,202 at the 2010 census. Highland is a suburb of Detroit. Highland Township was founded by pioneer families in 1835. A major factor in the development of Highland was the railroad, which allowed lumber to be transported cheaply, and allowed pickles from the township's early factories to be exported easily.

WCXI
WCXI (1160 AM) is a radio station licensed to Fenton, Michigan. The station broadcasts to the Flint area and the northwestern suburbs of Detroit. The station went on the air in 1985 as WFEN with a MOR format and has sported several formats and call signs in the years since. As of September 2010, WCXI has dropped its classic country format and is now playing oldies in a temporary relocation of the format of sister station WPON 1460 AM in Walled Lake, Michigan.
