Sarafovo is a neighbourhood of Burgas, largest city in South Eastern Bulgaria - a regional, tourist and trade center. Sarafovo is a beautiful calm quarter of Burgas and has great infrastructure, an International airport and it is a significant commercial centre. Burgas Airport

Burgas Airport, (Bulgarian: Летище Бургас, Letishte Burgas) and also known as Sarafovo Airport is an airport in southeast Bulgaria and the second largest airport in the country. The airport is located near to the north neighbourhood of Burgas, Sarafovo almost 10 kilometers from the city center. Between the airport and the city centre is located the Lake Atanasovsko. Burgas Airport has the fourth runway length on the Balkans (3200m) after Athens Airport, Sofia Airport and Belgrade Airport.

2012 Burgas bus bombing

The 2012 Burgas bus bombing was a terrorist attack carried out by a suicide bomber on a passenger bus transporting Israeli tourists at the Burgas Airport in Burgas, Bulgaria on 18 July 2012. The bus was carrying forty-two Israelis, mainly youths, from the airport to their hotels, after arriving on a flight from Tel Aviv. The explosion killed five Israelis as well as the Bulgarian bus driver and injured thirty-two Israelis, resulting in international condemnation of the bombing.

Lake Atanasovsko

Lake Atanasovsko or Lake Atanasovo (Bulgarian: Атанасовско езеро, Atanasovsko ezero) is a salt coastal lake north of Burgas, Bulgaria, located in direct proximity of the Black Sea. The lake is about 5 km long and divided into two by a strip of sand in the middle. The lake is particularly known for the diversity of flora and fauna and is surrounded by swamps and canals that drain the whole local basin into the sea.

Lazur Stadium

Lazur Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Burgas, Bulgaria. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of PSFC Chernomorets Burgas. The stadium holds 18,037 people and it's 3 star rated by UEFA. The stadium was opened in 1967 and was renovated between 1990 and 1997. Officially opened after renovation at 13 April 1997 with the match Neftochimik - Levski Sofia 4:1. Until 2002 the stadium is named "Neftochimik" and then "Naftex".
