Medgidia Clinker Storage Facility is the largest dome-type cement clinker storage facility in the world and one of the largest dome-type structures in Romania. It is operated by Lafarge and situated at Medgidia. The storage facility, which was completed in 2009, can store 250,000 cubic metres of clinker.

Stadionul Iftimie Ilisei

Iftimie Ilisei Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Medgidia, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of CSM Medgidia. The stadium holds 32,700 people. It was built in 1983 and until 2008 it was known as the Municipal Stadium when it was ranamed after Iftimie Ilisei, the former mayor of Medgidia who build it. Danube – Black Sea Canal

The Danube – Black Sea Canal (Romanian: Canalul Dunăre – Marea Neagră) is a canal in Romania, which runs from Cernavodă, on the Danube, to Constanţa (southern arm, as main branch), and to Năvodari (northern arm), on the Black Sea. Administrated from Agigea, it is an important part of the European canal system that links the North Sea to the Black Sea.

Castra of Basarabi-Murfatlar

Trajan's Wall

Trajan's Wall (Valul lui Traian in Romanian) is the name used for several linear earthen fortifications found across Eastern Europe, in Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine. Contrary to the name and popular belief, the ramparts were not built by Romans during Trajan's reign. Furthermore, the association with the Roman Emperor may be a recent scholarly invention, only entering the imagination of the locals with the national awakening of the 19th century.
