Beyköy is a town the central district of Düzce Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|46|N|31|10|E||| | |name= }} it is 7 kilometres South of Düzce. As of 2011 the population of the town was 4510 as of 2011. According to mayor’s page the population of the town is mostly composed of refuges from Balkan countries and Caucasus as well as people from East Black Sea provinces of Turkey. The epicenter was approx. 100 km to the east of the moment magnitude 7.4 1999 İzmit earthquake of 17 August 1999, which killed over 17,000 people. The earthquake occurred on the North Anatolian Fault.
