Osmaniye, Eskişehir

Osmaniye is a town in Alpu district of Eskişehir Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|51|N|30|55|E||| | |name= }} it is situated in the plains of Central Anatolia. Bozan

Bozan is a town in Alpu district of Eskişehir Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|47|N|31|06|E||| | |name= }} Bozon is to the east of both Alpu and Eskişehir . The distance to Alpu is 14 kilometres and to Eskişehir is 55 kilometres . The population of Bozan is 1874 as of 2011. According to one survey, Bozon is one of the places which were allocated to Kayı Alp, the grand father of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire.

Eskişehir Province

Eskişehir Province is a province in northwestern Turkey. Its adjacent provinces are Bilecik to the northwest, Kütahya to the west, Afyon to the southwest, Konya to the south, Ankara to the east, and Bolu to the north. The provincial capital is Eskişehir. Most of the province is laid down in Central Anatolia Region. Northern parts of Mihalıççık district and ones of Mihalgazi and Sarıcakaya of her remained in Black Sea Region and Han one of her remained in Aegean Region.

Gökçekaya Dam

Gökçekaya Dam is 43 km north of Alpu town 45 km east of province of Eskişehir in central Turkey and located 60 km downstream of Sarıyar Dam on the Sakarya River which runs into the Black Sea. There is a hydroelectric power plant, established in 1972, at the dam, with a power output of 278 MW (three facilities at circa 100 MW each), generating an average 562 GW·h of hydroelectricity annually.
