Bermuda Dunes is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California. The population was 7,282 at the 2010 census. Bermuda Dunes is located near Indio and 23 miles east of Palm Springs. Formerly the community's name was Myoma. Bermuda Dunes was developed in 1962 by Ernie Dunlevie and Ray Ryan. Among other celebrities Clark Gable had a home in Bermuda Dunes.
