Battle of Skafida

The Battle of Skafida (Bulgarian: Битка при Скафида) occurred in 1304 near Poros, Bulgaria. As a result the Bulgarian Empire overcame the crisis from the end of the 13th century, achieved internal stability and regained most of Thrace. For a time afterwards, Byzantium wasn't a serious threat to it.

Dyuni

Dyuni (Дюни, "Dunes"; also Duni or Dyunite) is a holiday town and seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, 40 km south of the Bulgarian city of Burgas and 7 km from Sozopol. The construction of the resort began in 1987 by an Austrian company and after a Bulgarian project. The resort has a length of 4–5 km and a width of over 100 m, with a beach suitable for windsurfing and other water sports in a wide bay. Dyuni has seven tennis courts and a number of swimming pools.

St. Thomas Island

St. Thomas Island (Bulgarian: остров св. Тома, ostrov sv. Toma) or Snake Island (Змийски остров, Zmiyski ostrov) is a Bulgarian island in the Black Sea, 15 km south of Sozopol. It has an area of 0,012 square kilometres (2.97 acres) and is the only place in Bulgaria where wild cacti grow, brought from Bratislava, Slovakia and planted on the orders of Tsar Boris III in 1933. They have covered most of the island since then. St.

St. Cyricus Island

St. Cyricus Island (Bulgarian: остров св. Кирик, ostrov sv. Kirik), also known as St. Cyril Island or Sts. Quiricus and Julietta Island is a Bulgarian island in the Black Sea, situated 150 metres from Sozopol's Stolets peninsula. It has an area of about 0,08 square kilometres and a height of 15 metres. The island is connected to the continent by means of a road and a breakwater. Unlike most other Bulgarian Black Sea island, its infrastructure is completely set up.
