Hemet-Ryan Airport

Hemet-Ryan Airport is a county-owned, public-use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) southwest of the central business district of Hemet, in Riverside County, California, United States. Hemet-Ryan is a main Cal Fire Air Attack Base, also used for civilian purposes, Civil Air Patrol meetings, and more. It is also home to a Riverside County Sheriff's Department aviation unit and a Mercy Air Air ambulance. The airport is named after the late Claude T. Ryan.

Hemet, California

Hemet is a city in the San Jacinto Valley in Riverside County, California, United States. It covers a total area of 27.847 square miles, about half of the valley, which it shares with the neighboring city of San Jacinto. The population was 78,657 at the 2010 census. Founding of Hemet predates the formation of Riverside County. The formation of Lake Hemet helped the city grow and prosper, and stimulated agriculture in the area.

Western Science Center

The Western Science Center (formerly the Western Center for Archaeology & Paleontology) is a museum located near Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet, California. The Western Center is home to a large collection of Native American artifacts and Ice Age fossils that were unearthed at Diamond Valley Lake, including "Max", the largest mastodon found in the western United States, and "Xena", a Columbian mammoth.

Tahquitz High School (Hemet, California)

Established in August 2007, Tahquitz High School (Taaa-Quits) is a high school of approximately 1600 students on the northwestern side of Hemet, California operated by the Hemet Unified School District. The principal is Michael Roe, Ed.D. Tahquitz High school's mascot is the Titans. Their school colors are green and gold. 2010, was their first graduating class. 2011 however, was the first 4 year graduating class.
